Our Bingo night is the last family event of the year!

The PTO loves hosting this year-end celebration - here's what you can expect!

Doors open at 5:15 PM... first game starts at 6 PM.
Grab dinner (or dessert) at one of the food trucks:
Visit with our sponsor booths! They'll be hosting games and activities and handing out goodies for our Huskies! Stop by to chat with Eggs Time, Fallowfield Montessori, Little Smiles OC and Updike Orthodontics!
It's our last Husky Gear pop-up shop of the year - including new styles! Pro tip: get NEXT YEAR's grade level shirt now... skip the line at Back-to-School night!
Visit with our Robotics team for the snack bar - and purchase your custom name keychains or paw clickers!
And of course - our epic raffle! We have our raffle preview ready - but there are still EVEN MORE prizes to come! You can buy raffle tickets in advance - or just buy them at the event! (Can't come to the event but still want to take part in the raffle? YOU CAN!)

And then it's time for the games to begin! It's free to play BINGO for the whole family - and there are PRIZES for every winner!

Teacher Appreciation Week Wrap-Up

AS IF we could let Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week go by without sending one more HUGE thank you to the entire incredible team at HCE - INCLUDING all of our amazing families and volunteers for making the week such a success! It was hella' fun hosting “Back to the ’90s” week - and we're grateful to everyone who made it happen!

Thanks to the incredible support of our HCE families and community partners - the PTO was able to host daily surprises for our teachers and staff:

- EVERY day the lounge was stocked with snacks and drinks - all courtesy of our HCE families!

- On Sunday night families joined us to pull off a surprise "Chalk the Spot" night!

- On Monday the teachers and staff were treated to coffee hosted by Starbucks and bagels from Catalyst Kids!

- On Tuesday and Wednesday, teachers enjoyed a carwash sponsored by the PTO!

- On Wednesday, the PTO hosted a luncheon for ALL HCE staff members- giving them a chance to eat, mingle, and play our "match the 90s throwback photo" game! (check out the video from the luncheon!)

- On Thursday, all of the staff enjoyed coffee hosted by Peet's on Portola, and the PTO delivered bundt cakes to every teacher in their classroom! Check out the video for proof that Mrs. Cheney knows her Sir Mix-A-Lot!

- On Friday, we finished off with a "make your own lunchables" station for all staff, and gift cards for every classroom teacher!

While a flashback is always fun - we feel incredibly grateful to be here at Hicks NOW - so that our kids can experience this wonderful school with the best team of any decade. We truly think they are the bomb diggity! We'll catch you on the flip side!
