• Dine at Lazy Dog in the Marketplace - tell them you are here with HCE and they will donate 15% of your bill to the PTO!  Grab a few classmates for a night out, or meet your coworkers for lunch! If you order online - use code 01Irvine. If you go in-person, show this flier.

Monday, January 12

• Registration opens for session 3 of the Wednesday After School Programs. 

Tuesday, January 13

• Girls Can Stem - a free event hosted by the Robotics Team "Denim Divas" in partnership with Student Council! 

Wednesday, January 14

• Our third Sabrina Lentini music assembly (grades TK-2nd)! Brought to you by the PTO.
  
  
• School Tours for NEW Enrollment (not current students) 9 AM & 11 AM

Thursday, January 15

• Coffee With Admin - 8:45 AM
  Join us for this special morning with special guest Irvine PD Officer Cramer - who will be discussing school safety. Please note this is an in-person meeting only. Due to the nature of the discussion, we do not broadcast this season online. 
  
  
• "Kids Run the OC" parent info meeting! Calling all 3rd, 4th and 5th graders! The annual "Kids Run the OC" program is back at Hicks, and if your student is interested in participating - plan to join this informational call! Please complete the "parent/student interest form" and then log in for the Google Meet call at 6 PM with Mrs. Bailey and Mrs. John!

• Art Masters! While students are in the assembly learning about this session's artist (Roy Lichtenstein) ... our parent volunteers will be in their training! Learn more about Art Masters here! We're always looking for more volunteers too! 

Friday, January 23

• PTO Meeting (10 AM) in the Small Multipurpose Room (you must check in at the front office before heading to the meeting) or call in using Google Meet. Get all the details. 
  
  
• TUSD Transfer Window Closes

Saturday, January 24

• Robotics Team Competition at Orchard Hills School! (11555 Culver Dr.) Come cheer them on and see what Robotics is all about between 9 AM and about 4 PM. If you come to cheer - avoid 12-1 PM.. teams are on lunch break so you won't see much action! 
  
  
• Winter Bowl - Flag Football Tournament (stay tuned for game times and locations)
