Dine out Day at Mendocino Farms AND Handel's Ice Cream (right next to each other at the Marketplace). Valid from 2 PM until close (does NOT apply for earlier lunch!) Make sure to mention HCE when you order (if you order onsite) or use the code "GIVEBACK" if you order Mendocino Farms online.

PTO meeting: 10:00 AM in the Small Multipurpose Room (you must check in at the front office before heading to the meeting) or call in using Google Meet. Get all the details.
- ALL families are invited - this is not a Board/Committee-only meeting... come join us and hear what PTO is up to!

5th Grade Puberty Talks

Our 5th graders enjoyed an evening (one for girls, one for boys) of informative (and fun!) puberty talks, hearing about the physical and emotional changes that occur during this important stage of life. They learned what changes to expect, tips for staying healthy and confident as well as age-appropriate advice on hygiene. The event also included interactive games and prizes and of course - treats!

We want to thank Sephora South Coast Plaza, Tatcha and Little Smiles OC for their generous contribution towards our hygiene bags!

And a HUGE THANK YOU to our 5th Grade Committee for making these back-to-back campfire chats so engaging and memorable!

Scholastic Book Fair

It was a full week of Book Fair fun - and we're still working to finish the accounting to finalize results - so stay tuned!

But we didn't want to let another moment go by without thanking our incredible Book Fair lead team, and ALL of the volunteers who joined for a shift (or several!) to make this event possible! We appreciate you and the work you put into making this book fair such a great memory for our students!
