You won't be starting from zero - and our structure is set up so that every volunteer role has support and guidance!

Dino Dash Packet Pickup Volunteers - Friday, October 30 

Join TPSF for "packet pickup" help at Dick's Sporting Goods. We have a shift for 4 volunteers from 1:15- 3:30 PM for this fun, fast-paced job. Please note that we do NOT have school that Friday. The role is for ages 16+ - unfortunately no TK-5 student helpers. Contact advisor@hickscanyon.org if you can help! Just let us know what time block you can be there (for part of it or the whole time!) 

 

Looking for a CPA!

Looking for a LEAD: Celebrations
This one is for the person whose love language is gift-giving. :) 
This person will be responsible for the gifts presented by the PTO for special occasions like Custodians Day, Every Student Succeeds, Principals Day, School Secretaries Day and events of that nature. The budget will be provided by the PTO... we're looking for your to bring the creativity and the love! Contact president@hickscanyon.org if you can help! 
 
Zeffy Reporting Help - AT HOME ROLE
We utilize the Zeffy payment platform for many of our PTO sales - including collecting payments for field trips, event tickets and more. Our teachers and program leads rely on getting reports with updates on sales so they can properly followup and host their events. We're looking for someone who can spend a little time each morning to pull reports and send to leads when campaigns are underway. This role can take up to 20 minutes a day in "busy" times... or no time at all during weeks when no campaigns/field trip sales are going on. Contact president@hickscanyon.org if you can help! 
 
 
Looking for a LEAD: TUSD Facility Compliance 
Our TUSD Facility Compliance manager is responsible booking facility requests for PTO events through the district (reserving use of any school property area during non-school hours). This person also coordinates with our PTO members to ensure that any vendor coming on campus has the correct insurance filed with the District. This is a very "checklist" oriented position and can be done completely from home - no on-campus time needed!  Our current TUSD Facility Compliance manager is a 5th grade parent - and we're looking for someone who will be trained under her leadership, shadow the role from January - May, with the intent to take on the role solo next school year. Looking for a LEAD: Wednesday After School Programs
This role has a pretty structured system in place (with template emails and step-by-step processes) and is ready for someone to take it over and manage! It's about a 30% onsite and 70% offsite role.. it does require some time on campus Wednesday after school at the start of each session to help make sure the vendors are set and kids are going to the right classes. But overall it's at-home vendor communication and organization. Contact programs@hickscanyon.org if you are interested. 
 
ART MASTERS Volunteers - ongoing
Learn more about the program here and how you can get involved - NO art experience required!
This one is a GREAT one to be involved right in your student's class. 
 

Copy Volunteers - ongoing

The front office staff is looking for volunteers who can come in to the office for about an hour/week to help with copy projects for the teachers. Days/times are flexible... when it works for you!

Earn and Learn Receipt Entry Team - AT HOME ROLE
Help enter collected receipts to help us win up $3,500! Learn more about the Earn and Learn program here. We're looking for volunteers who can take an envelope of receipts every once in a while and enter them into the online portal to count towards our total. You can do this as a one-time thing... or ongoing as available! Contact fundraising@hickscanyon.org if you can help. 
   
Looking for a LEAD: Corporate Sponsorships
Our Corporate Sponsorship program has a great base, but could really be something much bigger with someone giving more attention to it. This one is a 99% offsite job... very little on campus time needed. Contact president@hickscanyon.org if you can help!
