We're grateful for YOU!

While there's no school this week - we didn't want to miss this chance to tell you how much we appreciate all of our Hicks families!

Thank you to all the families who have attended PTO events (donuts with loved ones, the girls dance, the book fair and more) and celebrated the community we have here at Hicks!

Thank you to all of our amazing PTO members, who ensure that we can continue to offer the 50+ programs that PTO funds and supports!

Thank you to all of our event volunteers and committee members - who prove that it truly takes a village to make wonderful things happen at HCE!

Thank you to our board members, committee leads and room parents for taking the reins and sharing your leadership and enthusiasm so generously!

And of course a giant thanks to all of the incredible teachers, staff and administration at HCE. Our PTO continues to be grateful of the wonderful relationship we share - and the opportunities we are given to be involved in our student's experience at Hicks!

This Week

Tickets are on sale for Madagascar - A Musical Adventure Jr.! There are 4 show dates - December 5, 6 & 7. General Admission Tickets are $10 each and VIP seats are $20 each. VIP ticket sales END next Monday (or when they sell out) so grab those soon if you want the first 5 rows!
We have just a few copies of LAST YEAR's yearbook left. Pick one up for $15 if you missed it last year!
3rd-5th graders: Registration open for Tournament of Champions: Winter Bowl and Hoops Classic (3rd - 5th grade). Visit our Tournament of Champions page for more details. Winter Bowl (Flag Football - Girls and Boys teams forming NOW) deadline is January 3!

Robotics Team Competition

Three HCE Robotics teams headed down to San Diego this weekend for a tournament... finishing with an amazing showing representing the Huskies! Congrats to

- The Denim Divas (taking 5th place)

- The Mecha Masters (taking 6th place AND the Amaze Award!)

- The Ro Bros (taking 7th place)

In fact... it's NEVER too late! You can become a member of the PTO with your donation whenever it works best for YOU. Our husky backpack buddies will be delivered to new members WEEKLY moving forward - they go into your teacher's mailbox and they get them to your student. Remember, payment plan options are available too!
