SIX full days of "we're open" fair hours (including before and after school), a hoppin' Night at the Book Fair, and 34 classrooms visiting for shopping time! The Spring Scholastic Book Fair was a smashing success!
- Thank you to all of the HCE families who not only shopped for their students, but emptied teacher "wish list" boxes to provide books for the classrooms!
- We are so grateful to the 30+ volunteers who took shifts to cover the fair - keeping it running smoothly all week!
- Major kudos to our amazing Book Fair Leadership team - training cashiers, submitting restock orders midweek, scheduling class visits and all the behind-the-scenes management that goes into an event this size!

Did you know that JUST THIS YEAR thanks to the purchases made at the Book Fair - the PTO has been able to use "Scholastic Bucks" to provide:
- The "Scholastic News" classroom materials and mini-magazines that you see come home in Friday folders.
- More than $4,500 of books for the school library
- $2,000 in books gifted directly to teachers for their classrooms
- $550 in gift cards for students - earned through Husky Hustle fundraising and membership incentives
