• Grades (Grades K-5 only ... Not TK - yours was yesterday!)
  
  
• Parking is VERY limited. Consider walking if you live close by, parking at Hicks Canyon Park, or using the back gate if you live within Northpark. The back gate will open just before the start of session 1... and will close shortly after session 2.
  
  
• This event is adults only... no students. This is your chance to see your child(ren)'s classroom, hear from their teachers, and meet other parents/guardians in your class.
  
  
• There are TWO sessions to Back to School night (5:00 - 5:35 PM and 5:40 - 6:15 PM). The sessions take place IN THE CLASSROOMS. You can see your student's classroom number in Aeries! 
  • Have one kid at Hicks? Choose the session time that works best for you - your teacher will give the same presentation in both sessions. You only need to go to ONE of the sessions. Not both.
    
    
  • Have 2 kids at Hicks? Go to one classroom the 1st session, and the other classroom in the 2nd session. Or divide and conquer if you are able to have two parents/guardian's attend!
    
    
  • Have 3+ kids at Hicks? You'll want to split up to hit all of the classrooms between the 2 sessions. If you can't make it to one - just connect with that teacher later to ask for any information that was covered.
    
    
• Please do not bring your child into the classroom. This is a chance for teachers to talk to the parents - it's not an event for students. Plan to buddy up with a friend - one of you can watch the kids outside while the parent goes in the class for the first session, and then switch for the next!
  
  

THE HUSKY GEAR POP UP SHOP WILL OPEN AT 4:00 PM!

• Our pop up shop will be in the SMALL MPR. 
• Enter the gates under the clock tower if you arrive before 5 PM. You will not be able to access other parts of the campus until 4:55 PM.. just the Pop-Up Shop. 
• Stop at our sizing table FIRST to determine what style/size you need... and THEN head into the Small MPR to make your purchase. Please help us keep the lines moving by already knowing your selections before you get to our sales table! 
• Bring cash for the fastest transaction - but we also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay and credit cards. 
• Learn more about the different types of Husky Gear before you come! 

5th Grade Parents: Outdoor Ed info session will take place at 6:15 PM in the Large MPR.  

At tonight's Back To School Night - your teacher might ask for volunteers to be a "Room Parent". Check out an overview of what's involved here. 

Never taken on this role before and worried about stepping up? NEVER FEAR! We have a room parent coordinator who walks you through every step and even provides template emails you can use! Let your teacher know you are interested!

• Registration opens at 10 AM for the 1st session of Wednesday After School Programs (Grades 1-5) 

Wednesday, August 19

• Husky Gear Pop Up Shop: Outside the school's front gate at dismissal (12:30 - 2:15 PM) 

Friday, August 21

• Coffee with Admin 8:45 AM - 9:45. Join Mrs. Vela and Mrs. Fitch for a cup of coffee and donuts - and a casual chat about the year!
  
  
• PTO meeting: 10:00 AM (or immediately following coffee with Admin if that runs long) in the Small Multipurpose Room (you must check in at the front office before heading to the meeting) or call in using Google Meet. Get all the details.
  
  
• Registration CLOSES for the Wednesday After School Programs  (Grades 1-5) Late adds are not accepted. This deadline is no joke.

Have a Husky with a September birthday? The deadline to have their name on the Marquee outside the school is August 25th. Please note that marquee greetings are due by the 25th of the month PRIOR to the birthday. If you already know you plan to do this.. just order it now.. no need to wait! Late adds are NOT accepted.
