Yogurtland is available after school (starting at 2:50 PM) - $5 for a treat - and 20% goes to support the PTO! You'll find them outside the small MRP. This happens EVERY Monday... all year long! It won't be listed in every issue of "Tails" because it's every week... but just know it's happening!

5th Grade Girls Volleyball Tryouts: Get more details and sign up here!
Moms' Night - welcoming all HCE moms (and mom figures). Join us for desserts and new friends at this casual event at the Northpark Clubhouse (10 Meadow Valley - just tell the gate you are here for HCE's Moms' Night!) from 7-9 PM. No rsvp needed. Brought to you by the PTO
- What to bring: Your beverage of choice (we'll have desserts for all, some sodas and water - but it's BYOB if you're looking for something else!) and your willingness to make some new friends!
- What to leave at home: Your kids (this one is adults only) and your fancy clothes - come as you are!

Art Masters

Our first Art Masters Assembly of the year was last Wednesday - concentrating on the works of the Wyeth Family. This program (for Kinder- 5th graders) includes TWO parts for each featured artist... first the assembly (done!) - and then the in-class hands-on portion - which will take place in classes over the next few weeks.

There's still time to be involved in this program - it's a great way to be involved right in your child's class! Learn more about it here:

Membership Contest is underway!

The classroom that has the HIGHEST percentage of PTO members in EACH GRADE will win an ICE POP Party!

Contest details:

The contest closes Friday, September 18th at 11:59 PM.
One classroom from each grade will win.
Ice pop parties will take place between September 22 - October 2.
If your family has purchased a membership - it counts for ALL of your students' classes. Please make sure all of your students are listed on your account and their teacher names are correct! (go to this page and click "Step 1: family information" to confirm).
Watch for a leaderboard of class standings on social media and in Wednesday's "Hump Day Happenings" email!
